The most fascinating feature of a working farm is taking part in the coming out of high-quality natural products.
Discovering how a single bunch of grapes becomes wine, or how a single olive becomes oil is a miracle performed thanks to the cooperation between heart and nature, respect of environment and seasons, patience and competence. These values, that have been preserved and handed over for decades, are the foundation of a job based on manual, hard work, but moved but a great passion.
The farm is still producing today:
• Quality Wines
Wines are the spearhead of the estate activities. White, red and rosé wines are made from Tuscan local vines such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo, and Colorino.
Constant and careful work in the vineyards, together with family know-how and advanced equipments in the cellar, are the winning combination to obtain high-quality products, recommended by many of the best Italian and foreign guides in the wine sector, where our products always get excellent reviews.
• Extra-virgin Olive Oil
Oil is produced since the Fifties along with wine. Olive oil is made from the three traditional Tuscan olive-tree varieties: Moraiolo, Leccino, and Correggiolo. Olives are picked by hand according to tradition in order to select the best-quality fruits. Olives are taken to the mill within 24 hours after the harvesting, and cool pressed to extract a high-quality product which preserve the flavour and the aroma of the olives. It is an extra-virgin olive oil with an intense nose, with nice nuances of asparagus and artichoke, delicate and persistent to the palate.
